Your Role

As a Hotel Sales Representative, you are responsible for communicating the benefits of the Hotel products and services in order to drive sales. Sales rep serves as the point of contact between the business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers and tour operators while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to services.

Sales rep has the responsibility to negotiate trade terms with tour operators or travel companies on behalf of the hotel. Also needs to negotiate the rates and pre-booking allocations on new contracts. You will need to be good at developing relationship with tour operators, have a good business acumen for price and value and able to estimate which operator are likely to sell and estimate demand within your sales budget.

Professional qualifications & special skills


  • Degree or Certification in hospitality & tourism or business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a 5-star hotel 
  • Excellent oral and written command of English and Greek. Do you know a second foreign language? This is a plus!
  • Excellent knowledge of hotel PMS software. Knowledge of Protel or similar software is a prerequisite
  • Excellent knowledge of economics and arithmetic
  • Talent in sales and multitasking
  • Ability to identify customer problems and/or complaints and effectively resolve them in collaboration with Management.
